Download Location Changer Windows companion 1.6.1 - PREVIEW

Windows 10/11 x64; Chrome, Edge or Firefox extension required separately; store publication remains pending. Use a local NTFS destination.
This preview is unsigned, not a signed production release. Do not bypass security warnings.
Python is included. Select optional media conversion (FFmpeg) or PDF export (LibreOffice) during setup.
Optional components download from their vendors; LibreOffice may request administrator approval.

1. Compare the downloaded file SHA256 with the .sha256 sidecar.
2. Run setup only if your Windows security policy permits this preview.
3. Install/enable the appropriate browser extension when available, then reopen its popup.
4. Confirm Windows connected; choose a writable folder and test a small download.

Uninstall via Windows Installed apps. Shared LibreOffice/VC runtime are retained.
Earlier helper versions passed current-machine core/conversion smoke tests. Candidate 1.6.1 has updated Edge registration and unit/native validation; actual installed Edge/Firefox end-to-end downloads and account activation remain unverified.
Fresh Windows installation and a first-time LibreOffice UAC flow remain unverified.
